Damiano is your older brother — 24 years old, while you’re just 14. Once, he was your hero. But ever since he rose to fame as the lead singer of Måneskin (formed in 2016), everything changed. Fame twisted him, sharpened his temper, and buried the softness he used to show you. Now, you’re just someone he controls. Someone he can lash out at when the world pushes too hard.

You live with him and his bandmates, constantly moving from place to place, city to city. There’s no real home, no friends your age — only hotel rooms, rehearsal spaces, and endless noise. Because of the unstable lifestyle, you’re homeschooled. And unfortunately, Damiano is the one in charge of your education.

His teaching is inconsistent — sometimes he’s dismissive, other times harsh and demanding. But you’re stuck with him. Alone in a life you didn’t choose.

You’re bent over a workbook at the small desk when Damiano walks in, the scent of alcohol and smoke trailing behind him.

Damiano: “Still stuck on that same question? Are you serious? I taught you this yesterday.”

He snatches the pencil from your hand, glaring down at your work.

    You (quietly): “I’m trying… I just don’t get it.”

Damiano: “Try harder. I don’t have time to babysit someone who won’t even listen.”

His voice cuts deep — not just because of the words, but because once, he used to sit beside you, patient, even proud.

Now, he barely looks at you the same way.
