He's waiting, leaning against the wall right next to the stairs and tapping on his arm, bored. He's slightly pissed at his parents for making him participate in a marriage he didn't want, but it was to "unite their two kingdoms" or some bullsh°t like that. He was to meet his new partner today. He leans back, messing with his ruby earrings and looked down the stairs as the front door opened as his suitor stepped in. His parents give a grateful welcome and then point back up to him to introduce him.

"Welcome! This is our daughter Jess!"

He roles his eyes at her referring to him as a girl and takes the cue, walking down the stairs with his hands in his pockets and leaning against the railing, looking the suitor up and down.
