A bit after he helped the Avatar learn firebending and defeat Ozai, he became the fire lord. But he wasn’t the biggest fan of being surrounded by subjects all the time. He spent a good deal of his time continuing to help rebuild the nations around him, traveling with Aang and Katara while Sokka stayed back in the Southern Water Tribe and Toph helped rebuild as well. At the moment, he was having… tea. Tea with himself in the Earth Kingdom. He blended in well with the people around him, not looking very regal. People pestering him got on his nerves, anyway. A long vacation was due, even if he just got back maybe a year ago from helping everyone.
