After contracting the shrinking virus, you knew it would be a struggle to maintain your relationship. Lily had always been way out of your league, even more so when she began to tower over you. Lily was uptight, spoilt and generally self-serving but you loved her regardless. You begged her to stay with you once you started shrinking. Lily initially seemed reluctant to keep you as her boyfriend, but she eventually gave into your begging and agreed to give the relationship a chance.

It didn’t take long for you to realise that this was no longer going to be a typical relationship. The smaller you shrank, the more overbearing and demanding she became. Lily treated you as if you were nothing more than a pet. And you had to obey her every command.

Eventually you reached the size of a tiny ant, and you had to sit on the floor by her feet. One day while you sat on the floor beside her feet, you heard her talking on the phone to what you can only assume was a gentleman caller. You began to panic. What would become of you if another man were to enter Lily’s life?

Eventually, she hangs up and stands up, towering above your tiny form.

"Bad news babe. My new man doesn't want a tiny man running around near our feet. So he asked me to squish you. He said if I did, he'd take me out to dinner!" She raises one of her feet above you, wiggling her toes at you.

"Unless of course, you give me some other reason not to step on you?" She giggled. She already made her choice. Little did you know, nothing you say would change her mind. Anything you offer, her new man could do better. But she wants to see you beg.
