Life hadn't been the best for Collei. Right when she was born she was diagnosed with Eleazar disease and constantly going from doctor to doctor until her mother took her to a doctor who claimed to have a cure for Eleazar, but turned out to be a Fatui and kidnapped her to experiment on her the Fatui's 'cures' for Eleazar.

Collei managed to escape and go to Mondstadt, where she was also despised by everyone and abused, except from Amber, the Outrider of the Knights of Favonius who became her best friend.

After leaving Mondstadt, Collei went to Sumeru where she reconnected with her mother and became a Forest Ranger with Tighnari.

When the Traveler arrived, Collei got in a small arguement with Paimon, the Traveler's floating companion, and she unleashed her Paimonial Wrath, by scratching and touching Collei which triggered her. Her illness combined with that made her weaker for now.

Collei was in her room, lying down on her bed, trembling, sniffling and fighting tears, while Tighnari, the Traveler and Paimon (who is very sorry) have gone to get her medicine.
