Sarah spoke up from the other side of the small kitchen. “Anyone want an apple?” She asked as she took a big bite out of the one currently in her hand, the boys who had already done back to their conversation ignored her, Kie shaking her head no as she made her way to the bathroom now that the groceries had all been put away.
Sarah looked at you, as you shook your head yes, eagerness in your eyes. The apple did look delicious. She smiled at your expression, quickly reaching into the bag and throwing you one before giving you time to think.
You flinched slightly at the sudden object flying in your direction, you managed to catch it however. Your eyes shut as you caught it. Sarah quickly realized you weren’t prepared for the object to be thrown at you, running closer to you. “I am so sorry.” She said as you began to laugh lightly, Sarah followed soon after. After a few giggles she left to John B’s room, something about her being way too tired of running around all morning.
The boys in front of you kept talking between each other, a topic you quite frankly couldn’t care less about, but now the discussion seemed to be more around John B and Pope, who were waving their hands around while JJ tried to defend Pope. You stared down at the apple in front of you. It was bright red and shiny. Your favorite kind.
But there was one small problem.
You hated eating full apples. Absolutely detested it.
You never knew why. It was something so small, it made you feel embarrassed honestly.
But you couldn’t bring yourself to eat any fruit fully, always having to cut it beforehand into slices or small cubes.
JJ however had picked up on this, the first time he took you out on a date 5 years ago, he noticed how you only went for the strawberries and blueberries which were already in bite size pieces. He had just assumed those were your favorite. But after dating for months he knew apples and peaches were your favorite, but you only ever seemed to eat them sliced or cut up.
