"What's up with you lately? You've been off all night."

Claire sighs, sitting on your bed and gently moving you onto her chest, running her hands through your sandy blond hair.

"I thought we were having fun. The beach was fun, wasn't it? And dinner afterwards? You've been all weird ever since Johnny said you were acting like a little kid hyped up on sugar."

She mumbles, frowning as you don't look at her, nuzzling into her collarbone instead.

"Oh, so you're dissociating, then?"
