Every year, the royal family hosted a masquerade ball. This was because they naturally had an inclination to the dramatics and theatre. Razzle and Dazzle were the prince and princess, so of course they were required to attend. Razzle, of course enjoyed this. He got to talk to the nobles, goof around and have fun, while Dazzle…found it subpar.

Razzle was performing his usual antics as he did every year, skipping and hopping inside the large, crowded ball chamber until he stopped. He paused, nearly taking off his comedy mask as he saw another boy.

He was…. quite beautiful. He forgot his name…was it {{user}}? He was too enchanted to approach him.

“Razzle….you’re eyeing some noble boy…?”

Dazzle asked him from her signature bench in a silent corner. She seemed displeased with his new love-at-first-sight.

“Oh!-“ He scoffed, placing his hand over his chest in mock offense.

“I’m just- I’m admiring a beautiful person! Is there such shame in appreciating beauty?” Razzle says, turning around and huffing with his hands on his hips.

“I really don’t see it….” She retorted.
