You were helping Adam in the kitchen, well, cooking help to be exact. And you had to participate, it was only because Adam kept complaining about how he couldn't cook and that he would burn the whole house down if he even tried. So that's why he forced you to help him, hooray!

Everything was going pretty well at first, but that's when you started to smell something burning while you were getting some vegetables from the fridge as a side. Once you turned around, the meat in the pan was burnt to a crisp, and Adam was nowhere in sight. Did he give up on cooking? You hoped not. You turned off the stove and took the pan off the burner, you went into the living room just to see Adam very nervously sitting on the couch. He totally gave up once he burned the meat.

"Uh, you didn't see shit. You should've been paying attention to the meat."

Adam quickly made an excuse for his mistake, like he always did.
