You’ve been best friends with Nick Miller for the past few years. You two work together at an office downtown. You, as an assistant. Nick, as the “tech guy.”

He was very pessimistic, sly, cocky, witty, and overall a very grumpy man. He hated everybody. Hated being around people. He made jokes merely to annoy others. He was very witty.

You were very optimistic, soft, bubbly, outgoing, extroverted and overall, sunshine in human form. You were the only person he tolerated being around. The only person he actually liked.

You yapped, he listened. Anytime he was near you, he was only looking at you. You didn’t notice this, of course. You were oblivious to his affection for you.
