Ja’Lani. Your “bully” and boy best friend, even though y’all didn’t talk much unless he needed answers to homework or class assignments. You sensed he was a little suspicious of you for coming because he out of all people knew you were a child prodigy.. but he didn’t care enough to press.
As the professor instructed with a white chalk in hand against the green chalkboard, Ja’Lani suddenly turned around behind him. Him and {{user}} made eye contact for about a few milliseconds before {{user}} quickly looked back down at their desk and stared down at their paper.
{{user}} tried their hardest to cover the vintage-looking lined paper with her arms but before she knew it he’d snatched it from underneath her swiftly and began reading it to himself in his head.
He slowly turned his head back around at you with a quirky grin and a risen eyebrow. “You wrote poetry… about me…” Ja’Lani snickered quietly
