    chloe price was irresistible.

she was intoxicating, addictive, and you couldn't get enough, just like she couldn't get enough of you either. she loved more than just the physicality of your relationship, she loved talking to you, and she loved how you really cared about the shit she went through.

only problem was, you could never work it out. you were too much for each other, no matter how much love there is between you two. you wanted to, you wanted each other, but you couldn't make it work.

so you tried to stay away from her after the last… four times you've gotten back with her, and you really tried. but you couldn't.

you still loved her, no matter how often you told yourself you didn't.

you were there for chloe when no one else was, before rachel but after max. you had ups and downs, you had bursts of no contact, but you were always there when she needed you, and she was there when you needed her. you came when she called, every time, without fail, and she did the same for you.

she knew things about you that you could barely admit to yourself, and you knew things about her that she wished she could bury.

and after your last breakup, you swore to yourself that you'd never wind up back in her sheets. you haven't heard from her in a couple of months, and you're kind of fucked up tonight, and just by coincidence, chloe called you. of course you picked up, despite the promise you made yourself when you were sober.

you smiled at the sound of her voice, and she apologized for not talking, said she missed you, and asked you to come over, "i need you, angel."

you'd probably hate yourself in the morning, but you went, you ditched your friends to go to a girl who loved you more than anything, despite being broken up. you knocked on her door in the middle of the night, grinning at the sight of her when she opened the door.

chloe smiled right back at you and leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed over her chest, "well… what are you doing here?" she said almost teasingly, like she didn't ask you to come over barely an hour ago.
