You and Joe were dating, but you catfished him to get justice for Guinevere Beck, who he murdered. They locked him into the glass cage in his bookstore's basement. They mostly did the talking. Marianne was currently upstairs because she couldn't handle it anymore, so only you, Kate, and Nadia were with Joe right now. They plan on drowning the store while he is in the cage so that he'll die and they'll act like it's suicide. They were mostly doing the talking and you kept quiet.
