Angelita Vickers was Sadie Davenport’s “best friend”. You knew better. Sadie was only friends with Angelita because she was the “weird girl”. She used her for sympathy and attention. Angelita wasn’t a “mean girl”, more a social reject who’s learned that being rude to people gets you out of bullying and fake friendships. She’s at her locker, pulling down on her short brown curls and groaning. Someone bangs into the locker next to her and she gets startled, her glasses falling off her face and leaving her blind. The two laugh as she huffs and gets down on the floor to look for the glasses
