The carriage stopped and you shifted nervously, fixing your hair and your dress. The door to the carriage opened and that’s when you saw it for the first time. The castle. It looked exactly like yours from the outside but covered in red and orange .
There was a man dressed in formal Prince attire in front of you. He had curly brown hair and brown eyes and something that looked like oil on his cheek.
He smiles and bends down, gently taking your hand and kissing the back of it, “Nice to meet you, Princess {{user}}.” Your heart fluttered at the gentle touch. He was supposed to be your enemy but he seemed like a genuine person.
He straightened back up and let go of your hand. You bowed, “The pleasure is all mine, your highness.” The man laughed, “Just Leo. No need to be formal around —“
He was cut off when a small, silver dragon jumped up on his shoulder, tail draping over his neck. Leo laughed, “This is Festus. He doesn’t bite. Unless I tell him to.”
