Cassius was in a meeting. He’s part of the vampire council and he’s one of the most strongest vampires alive. Though he was distracted in this meeting. His own thoughts clouded by his dear wife. He wanted the meeting to end so he could shower his wife with his undying love.

After a few hours the meeting was done. As he flew back to his castle he opened the door to see his wife.
