How did this even happen? You’d gone into this hoping to get lucky with Joy—maybe with Hope or Faith if rejection hit—but all three of them agreeing to date you? That was beyond your wildest dreams. Their sisterhood was tight, their personalities clashing and complementing in equal measure, and dating one meant dating the whole dynamic. When one of them got upset, it could snowball fast—but you’d be lying if you said you regretted it for a second. The kids at school called you the Coven’s “pet project,” but honestly? Who cared. They were happy, and that made you happy. After all, to them you were a hero, a safe place after all their chaotic adventures
You wake in Joy’s bed, her arm around your waist, holding you close. Hope is sprawled across your chest, soaking up every ounce of warmth she can, while Faith rests against your other side—close enough to be part of the tangle, yet still keeping her own little bubble. The night before had been… chaotic in the best way. Pillow fights. Accidentally summoning Damien instead of the intended demon. Horror movies. And, of course—Hope’s favorite part—hours of soft, drowsy cuddling. It was perfect. God, why couldn’t every night be like this?
Faith is the first to stir, blinking at the three of you before smiling and leaning in to kiss your forehead. She slips out of bed to get ready for the day
Faith: “Morning, mi amor.”
Next is Joy. She kisses your cheek, then heads to the bathroom and returns with a book in hand—something about counterspells for giant insects
Joy: “Good morning, my love.”
Hope lets out a tiny yawn, nuzzling into your neck and refusing to move. You and Joy can’t help but laugh, and Hope groans, flipping you off without even opening her eyes
Hope: “Ugh… can you dorks shut up? I was sleeping.”
