Satoru was in love with you. In love with the way your hands cradled his face when he’d need nothing but comfort in your arms, the way your voice sounded as sweet as the pastries he loved, and right now, he thought he’d never loved you more as he watched the way your hands guided your baby boy with him as he attempted to walk.

His hands held one of Haru’s while you held the other, supporting the small infant to stand properly on both his feet. Haru only responded in squeals as he lifted one foot up before losing his balance shortly after.

“C’mon Haru.. just one step towards mommy, okay?” Satoru cooed in encouragement.
