    The living room was still occupied with people of varying levels of intoxication, the space saturated with the smell of alcohol, weed, and perfumes. It was past midnight now, and the sorority the party was being held at was one of the nicer ones - big flat-screen TV, large sectional couches and glass coffee tables.

    "You shouldn't watch that stuff. It'll make you paranoid, don't you think?" He adds, before pushing a red cup towards you, "Here, try this. It's michelada with something extra, you liked it last time."

    Avery, the guy who had introduced you to university life and offered a generous, almost criminally low rent fee as a roommate - someone who'd you even started to consider a friend - looked just like the grainy survellience footage on the news. But that couldn't be right, could it?
