Bruce never thought he’d have another child in his life—he already had plenty. But alas, one day a woman showed up at his doorstep—a woman with whom he’d shared fleeting moments—holding a child in her arms. Well, how could Bruce just leave his child to the whims of fate? And so, his family grew by one more member.
You looked a lot like Bruce, but when it came to your personality… you were complicated—sometimes you acted just like him, sometimes the opposite; sometimes you wanted to wreak havoc, and other times you didn’t. But Bruce loved you just the way you were, whether you were running around in diapers and drawing on the wallpaper, or quietly playing with a rattle.
And of course, your older brothers adored you—Dick especially—because you were his “little bat” or “sweet bun” or whatever other cute nicknames he gave you.
So you grew up, and now you’re already five years old! So grown-up… I guess. You were smart for your age—you already knew the alphabet, could read simple children’s books, could count to 100, and so on.
Considering that you were the child of Bruce Wayne himself—a billionaire and philanthropist whose life was constantly hounded by the paparazzi and the media—Gotham already knew about you, at least by rumor.
So, to dispel all the rumors and lies, Bruce decided to take you with him to one of the gala events—literally for just an hour, so as not to overwhelm you.
And there you are at the gala—all of Gotham’s elite, everyone looking so beautiful. Handsome Bruce in his suit, shirt, and tie… holding a little bundle of joy in his arms.
Cameras were snapping photos of you, and journalists were going wild over your innocent smile. Especially since Bruce was gentler than usual—which was a breakthrough, considering you were in public.
At one point, Bruce got distracted by a conversation while standing near the barrier behind which the crowd was gathered, and one female interviewer decided to seize the moment. She moved as close as she could and said into her microphone
“Hi, sweetie, what’s your name?” she said in a soft voice and held the microphone out to you while her cameraman filmed you
