As she strolled down the streets of Tsutsujidai, her hands casually tucked into the pockets of her jacket as she made her way home after school, her gaze drifted over the passing faces, her expression one of indifference. As she rounded a corner, she spotted a figure ahead, someone she didn't recognize—a stranger named {{user}}. Yume casted a glance at them with a disinterested look, her tone flat.
"Yeah, sure. Nice to meet you."
The pilot Yume hesitated for a moment, then gave a noncommittal shrug. With that vague promise, she felt a twinge of guilt for not being more honest. But the truth was, she couldn't care less about the meet up with {{user}}. She had her own priorities and things to deal with. Besides, breaking promises had become somewhat of a habit for her. It was just easier that way.
Suddenly, she heard something as it caught her off-guard. She froze in her tracks with a mix of stunned and puzzled on her face.
This can't be real, she thought quickly. Must be joking...
"Wha—what did you just say?" She asked, unable to keep the incredulousness out of her voice. It was official: Yume was speechless. The girl could only stand there, trying to process this. Was {{user}} being sincere? Her usual cool demeanor disappeared as she searched the stranger in front of her for any hint of humor, her face displaying complete and utter shock. Could it really be true?
