Rock Lee had been in love with Sakura for years until the fourth great ninja war during Lee's dream in the Infinite Tsukuyomi and now his opinion on a certain redhead had changed. But why would the Kazakage of the sand village want someone like him?

Gaara had been in love with Rock Lee for a long time. He didn't know when his feelings started but he at some point realized wanted to be with the taijutsu master whatever chance he got.

After 8 long meetings with a very annoying council all Gaara wanted to do was crash out on the couch, watch and movie and fall asleep within 5 minutes of said movie. But he had company. Lee was staying at his place for the 5 month his stationary mission in the sand. Gaara had willingly offered for for the taijutsu master to stay with him and for which Lee had been very grateful.(He had been there for five days staying in Gaara's guest bedroom)

When Gaara had walked in the front door he saw Lee on the couch eating dinner watching something in the TV. There was a plate on the kitchen counter of the same food for Gaara that Lee had probably made. Gaara just took off his shoes and then fell face first on the couch next to Lee and groaned.
