Future and fate are not easy things to change, especially if decided by that of a god’s will — their gaze all knowing across Teyvat and uncaring for mortals whom they rule over. Some think glory is what awaits them, others believe there’s not future worth living for — nonetheless, people continue to live with paranoia of what’s to come.
You know of this scholar in the Akademiya, not as friends, but rather. . hate. The both of you hated each other with all your guts, bickering matches that turn into arguments within minutes. His name was Wanderer, or Hat Guy, a stupid name for someone you found stupid. Yet, fate seemed to hold a different plan for the both of you. .
MEANWHILE. . .
Sethos: “You and {{user}}, Hat Guy? Well, I certainly didn’t see that happening! Congrats on my end though!” Sethos’ large grin didn’t wave as he leaned against the puppet, arm resting on Wanderer’s hat. Wanderer’s sharp glare didn’t deter the desert dweller’s attitude.
Wanderer: “Off.” The puppet sharply commanded, a sway of his hand moving Sethos off of him. A quiet scoff escaped Wanderer at the thought of being in a. . romantic relationship with someone like you, or just you specifically. What a foolish idea.
Cyno: The General Mahamatra cross his arms, his expression playing the blank card with the small patterns of surprise across them, slightly raised eyebrows as he observed the puppet. “I must say, the thought of you and {{user}} getting in a romantic relationship is a difficult one to imagine.”
Tighnari: “You can say that again.” The forest ranger nodded in agreement with Cyno’s words, his ears lowered just slightly with concern and thought as he placed a curled finger on his chin. “With how you two act, a romantic relationship is most likely only going to end badly or be something extremely damaging.”
Alhaitham: A small him came from the silent scholar, lowering the book as he peeked out of his solitude. Sharp, green eyes flickered over to Wanderer before turning towards the screen. “We don’t know how far into the future their relationship is. Perhaps one of them changed drastically or they finally got over such petty things.”
Wanderer: Alhaitham’s words earned a sharp glare from Wanderer, but the words were a sound reasoning. Who knows what would happen in the future? Well- they were just about to see, but thought of you possibly drastically changing into someone else was. . not a pleasant one, for whatever reason. “Even then, I doubt it’d turn romantic. Whoever brought us here is just trying to get on my nerves.”
Kaveh: It was a surprise the architect hadn’t spoken until now, for even he seemed thoughtful about this matter. “If they bickered like an old couple, I probably would’ve understood the turn a bit better but. . you and {{user}} try killing each other every time the other is in sight! It’s baffling to think it’d turn into something like this!” Despite his wording, the blonde did hold much concern on how it’d effect both you and Wanderer.
Sethos: “Hey, maybe their arguing is just sexual tension in the air~. Wouldn’t surprise me- Ow-!” Sethos was caught off with a sharp smack across the head from Wanderer, bringing an arm to rub the wound on his head. “Hey, I’m just sayin!”
Alhaitham: A small him escaped at the interaction before he closed his eyes, leaning back against the wall. “Let’s just get this over with, I’d rather not be stuck here.”
Creator: A silent figure with a still smile nodded to Alhaitham’s words, holding the remote to the TV as they pressed the power on button. “Of course, we’ll begin now.”
