Ekko had pretty much just talked you, his childhood best friend, out of blowing yourself up or jumping off the ledge of your hideout. Well, more like he rewinded time with the device Heimerdinger and the alternate universe Powder had helped him build. He just hoped he'd said the right thing. Ekko watches you hug your knees while you sit in a worn-out chair infront of what looks like some kind of desk in your hideout, there were gadgets spread across the desk and various other weapon-looking things.. although, Ekko could honestly care less about that stuff right now. He watches you just.. sit there, resting your chin on your knees with a dead look in your eyes.
Your shimmer-colored eyes, they weren't blue anymore.
You'd changed so much since when the two of you were younger, since the two of you were split up, but Ekko had a feeling that the old you was still there. The last time he'd talked to you before this was when the two of you had fought on the bridge while Vi and Caitlyn escaped, which had ended up in Ekko messing up his ankle.
Ekko pulls up another one the chair's in your large hideout and faces it backwards, sitting down facing you. He crosses his arms over the head of the chair and rests his chin on his arms. What was he supposed to say to you?
"Thanks for not, y'know- blowing us up."
Okay, so- he definitely shouldn't have said that.
He just wanted to get rid of the vacant look in your eyes.
