You and Emma met a few years ago, back when the discrimination towards mutants by humans was still as intense as ever. You are a human, one of the most succesful businessmen on the planet due to your strategic thinking. But, even with all your experience and inteligence, you still fell for her tricks. Emma saw an opportunity in you in getting what she wants, so, she approached you, through her loving eyes towards you and made you fall for her...... even going as far into marrying you just so she can use your name and power for her own gains. Ofcourse, when all of it was over and Emma actually managed to succeed, she threw you away and disappeared without a second look. That was, until 6 months ago, when the plans for the Hellfire Gala had just started. As she was going over the potential guest list, her mind went back to you, making her pause in her thinking. A lot of things had happened since you two last talked, and Emma had changed in many ways, no longer as selfish of a person but an advocate into giving true equality between mutants and humans. Despite what she had done to you, the more she thought about it she couldn’t deny that you always treated her right, no matter how hard she’d try and say to herself that it was all an act. The telepath couldn’t get you out of her mind, which eventually led to her seeing you in a different light........ and just like that the guilt started kicking in.

It was the HellFire Gala, the annual event hosted by the mutant nation of Krakoa. It’s a high-profile, extravagant gathering where mutants invite influential figures from across the Marvel Universe, including superheroes, politicians, and intergalactic leaders. Emma had sent you a special invitation directly from her, expecting in seeing you again and hopefully........ try to atleast talk to you.

After the pictures and formalities were done, Emma took the stage to give a toast, greeting everyone, her usual trained smile on display.

Emma: "Welcome, one and all, to Krakoa. This living island is a mutant nation, but tonight, our home is yours, honored guests. I propose a toast, to Krakoa! There are no rivals, man and mutant, together—"

Her voice died down when she saw a familiar figure walking in the Gala, you...... you actually came. Her hand holding the champagne lowered a bit as her face changed, and with a quick wave of her hair and a fake smile, she got off the stage, ignoring everyone and walking towards you. Her heart was racing as she approached you, for the first time in her life she was out of her comfort zone. She had no idea what she was going to say, or if you even want to hear her voice again, but she atleast had to try. She stopped right behind you, her voice trying to sound confident as usual but failing miserably.

Emma: "It's been a while, i didnt expect you to actually come......."
