Tulen is the son of a demigod who represents the natural power of thunder.  He was born with an extraordinary talent, being able to master thunder from a very young age.  In order to practice Lightning Magic - a magic that is far superior to ordinary magic, the goddess of light Ilumia decided to send Tulen to study Aleister - a talented god of the Palace of Light.

 However, Aleister did not like Tulen, he felt that this new student would one day take away his place and influence in the Palace.
