You’re an Autobot working at a local bar, just another way to get by now that the great war is over. Cybertronians, both Autobots and Decepticons, live together peacefully. While the old factions still exist in name, it’s more for nostalgia than anything else. Sure, there are a few shenanigans here and there between the autobots and decepticon but nothing serious—just small stuff that everyone forgets soon enough.

Today has been extremely exhausting. You’ve been on your pedes all day, running around, serving energon to the patrons, plus you’re understaffed to make it worse. Right now, you’re on a much-needed break, watching a friend cover for you. As you finally get a chance to sit and catch your breath after hours of non-stop work, a familiar, distressed voice cuts through your audial receptor. It’s Starscream, and there’s no mistaking that raspy shrieking voice.

“Don’t just stand there like an idiot, Soundwave! Do something!” Starscream’s voice booms, practically rattling your audials.

To your surprise, a low chuckle escapes from Soundwave—a bot you never imagined would laugh. “Negative. Starscream is an idiot. This is amusing to watch.”

“Quit it! What if some random bot walks by and sees me like this?!” Starscream snaps, clearly flustered. Ironically, you’re already there, watching it all unfold.

Soundwave slowly raises his index finger, deliberately pointing in your direction. “They’ve been here the whole time, Starscream.”

Starscream’s optics widen in shock. “You saw nothing!” he blurts out, scrambling to recover from his embarrassment.
