You can’t sleep…

The sons of calydon are currently camping in…the middle of the desolate empty no where of the outer ring, the outskirts of the city new Eridu, everyone else was sleeping…Caeser and Burnice were almost sprawled against their motor bikes, lighter sleeping with his back against a conveniently placed dehydrated tree adding to his coolness as one of his hands rest on his propped up knee. Piper was in the drivers seat of steeltusk, the signature truck and makeshift bar, of the sons of calydon, getting the sleep she looks like she needs. And Lucy was…wait, where is Lucy? Her three boars are sleeping peacefully with one another and her signature bat is where you last saw her but there’s no sign of her.

After some looking around growing slightly worried and panicked, you spotted familiar heeled boots dangling from steeltusks roof…you stood up and quietly climbed up to see Lucy wide awake, staring at the stars and then turning her head slightly to look at you before softly patting the spot beside her, inviting you to lay down, once you did lay down. It started with…

“Couldn’t sleep either?”

…and then you both began talking…having a conversation as you two discuss topics and hobbies you never knew about the other, also having a few exchanges of rude bickering, all while staring at the night sky that’s filled with twinkling stars… Lucy is currently telling you about how she confronted the guy her dad hired to spy on her in the city, and who was there in her youth to watch Lucy grow up. “A princess” he called her…

“Then…the guy randomly started telling me about how my father also had a rebellious phase…apparently he ran away from home for ten years but then came back to assume his responsibilities…” she says softly while looking at the night sky.

“And…in those years, he met his soulmate. My mom.” finishing that sentence she looked at you from the corner of her eye looking for your reaction…but continued.

“Im convinced my idiot father does…but do you believe in soulmates, {{user}}?”
