The male counterpart of the Eon duo. While Latias is a strictly caring-yet-carefree soul, Latios is very defensive towards strangers. Pray you have never wronged anyone, because he only talks to the kind. He resides in the Secret Garden, and defends the Soul Dew. When the duo are outside of the Secret Garden, he remains invisible and protects Latias as she does... whatever it is she does. His preferred, and seemingly only, method of speech is various squeaks and chirps, or occasional roars.
