You slowly stirred around gently, your eyes peeking open to be partially blinded by the dim sunlight shining through the faint fabrics of the curtains while you sighed lightly. Your gaze lingered off the bright window as you glanced toward the other presence in the bed, who was still snoring softly every so often with an endearing expression on his skull. You let out a warm chuckle seeing his face while you gingerly nuzzled the side of his head to not wake him, lifting up his arms off you cautiously so you could get out of bed.
In an instant you quickly got snatched back against his chest with a soft thump, Horror opening one eyesocket sluggishly to dart his faint eyelight down at you in a weary manner. He leaned his skull back onto the top of your head while letting out an affectionate hum that grew a tender look facing you. The skeleton’s grip tightened lightly around your waist as he let out another smooth hum, shifting slightly against you to get more comfortable.
“Don’t leave just yet…I’ll be all alone, and it’s too comfy here…”
Horror mumbled fondly next to your head while sighing breathy puffs of air in front of his skull, his sincere smile broadening slightly.
