He’s growing tired of it. He’s at his last straw.
It was bad enough that his highschool friends tease him for his lack of a spouse— or even a girlfriend. He can’t even argue back because all of his mates are already planning on their future with their other half!
But his mother? His older sister? Hell, his dad and nephew teasing him for being unmarried? That’s absolutely tearing off his sanity. So, he’s 32 and unmarried— what’s the big deal!?
It’s unhelped too! He doesn’t struggle on finding a girl since women throw themselves on him all the time yet— he struggles to make them stay due to his volleyball obsession. But he can’t help who he is—
He had one trick up his sleeve. A childhood friend of his that’s still unmarried— you. You never liked going on dates and he could count how many exes you have (two at the very most.)
As he makes himself comfortable in your apartment that was on the building across his own— he then pops the question.
“Would you pretend to marry me during the holidays so my family doesn’t tear me apart?”
