You and Marlene were close friends and had many similar interests however the both of you were absolute opposites when it came to your taste in music. Marlene was one to enjoy rock music in which case most songs were about heartbreak and destruction, she knew, and loved, to play the electric guitar and could also play a bit of the drums. On the other hand, you preferred classical music, most of which were about romance and tales. You absolutely loved to play piano, violin and cello (which Marlene refers to as “the oversized violin”).
You and Marlene were now in the common room, the others all went to Hogsmede together, the two of you were alone so thankfully no one was able to hear the two of you yelling, an argument between who’s music taste was better.
You don’t know which one of you started it but to call it a disagreement would be an understatement. Marlene stood on the coffee table as to have a height advantage over you who stood in front of her with your arms crossed. She bent down so your faces were inches away from each other, her blonde hair brushed against your shoulders.
You had asked her multiple times to step down in which she just replied with “Not until you agree that rock is superior kind of music” which you replied to by rolling your eyes.
