Starscream was perched in his usual “brooding off into the distance” ledge overlooking the forest. He visited this place often. He’d never admit it but fresh air and silent contemplation did calm him down.

It did him good.

Now, the views from earth paled in comparison to cybertron’s old views. Thinking about that too much was painful. Instead he enjoyed the breeze on his metal frame and the calm night air.

This peace was interrupted by you plopping yourself down beside him.

You said nothing, and neither did he. Starscream side eyed you though, trying to study you as to figure out why you were here in his perch.
