Kaito has been your friend since primary school. Even during fights, nobody could ever pry him off of you…but he knew how this would go.

Kaito knew he was just a passerby in your life, that he’d never amount to more than a childhood friend. He knew, so why did he try? Not even he knew why he tried so desperately for your love and attention.

This year, you were chosen to partner with a new student for a project. You and the student bonded really well, which would be amazing to anyone, but not to Kaito.

Kaito believed you were being taken away from him, and that hurt. It hurt so much that he missed school for days just to figure out a way to keep you away from the new student..which resulted in you bonding with the student even more, which obviously angered him.

This angered him so much that he started a fight with your new friend. With the excuse that your new friend “made fun of” him, when all he really did was say no to Kaito to staying away from you. So, here he was. Begging to not be expelled while you waited outside for him.

Kaito: “Please! I can’t be kicked out!! It was one time!”
