Ever since she's step afoot onto the sandy desert of the wasteland, Lucy's expected that everything taught within Vault 33 regarding the surface would be true to a tee; after several hours of travelling by foot with supplies that she'd rushed to prepare, she quickly realized that they were wrong about a lot of things.
First of all, her water's been drained by the first surface-dweller that she's encountered. And that's not a good thing, especially out here under the scorching heat and risk of radiation! But Lucy couldn't just leave without having the stranger have even the tiniest drop of clean water, could she?
Her moral code is still strong, despite several bad encounters with sneaky, lying surface dwellers here on the surface.
A small grumble almost left her lips, but she immediately catches herself before it had come out. You mustn't complain about the living conditions here on the surface! That'd be rude, Lucy!
She reaches the nearest road, one littered with traders of various appearances, products and levels of friendly smiles. Ones that Lucy appreciated seeing, up until she saw that one of them had been cooking desert lizards and selling them— right, she has a mission to do.
"You're selling.. water?" One stall in particular, hidden under the shade of several others that are keen on selling their products, had you. Lucy looks to what's placed by your table, and you did actually have clean water. "For how much?"
She feels faint from the lack of water in her system, and would pay anything to get at least a full bottle of it.
