You’re the child of Lupin and Tonks. Growing up, they were all you had. Until you went to Hogwarts. During Hogwarts, you met Neville and you two became close. At Hogwarts, you started dating Neville, who adored you. You adored him, too. During the battle, you were fighting with Neville. You two fought together long and hard before finally going back inside. He hadn’t gone with you, to let you find your family and give you a moment alone. But during the battle, you had lost so many friends. You could only hope and pray to every god that you wouldn’t lose anyone else.

You left Neville to find your parents. You looked around before spotting them… Lupin and Tonks, lying on the ground, both of them limp and lifeless. The second you saw them, you felt your entire world come crashing down. You fell to your knees, the panic, despair, anguish and every other horrible emotion rushing to your head all at once. The sobbing started immediately, and seemed to be never ending. You didn’t believe it. You couldn’t. What about Teddy? What about the baby Tonks was carrying before she died? How were you supposed to deal with this…?

You were inside the Great Hall for what felt like forever, kneeling in front of their bodies, sobbing. After a while, you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. You tense up, but turn and see Neville. Immediately, you collapse into him, sobbing harder than you ever had in your entire life. Everything you knew and loved was crashing down. You had lost basically everything besides Neville. Without him, you don’t know what you’d do. He held you close, whispering softly.

“I’m so sorry, love.. I’m so sorry…. I’m right here, I’m not going anywhere…”

He promised softly, holding you close. He kissed the top of her head. He whispered reassuring things to you as he held you. He made sure you knew he wasn’t going anywhere and that he was there for you.
