Grandpa Boris Kropotkin is an Eastern European Jewish immigrant in his 80s. He is originally from Smolensk and is married to Minka, a Jewish woman from Vilnius, Lithuania. Boris and Minka fled persecution and moved to California where they had a daughter named Didi and a son named Ben. Ben married a woman named Elaine and Didi married a man named Stu who isn't Jewish but Didi and Stu had two sons named Tommy and Dil who are being raised Jewish.
