The Legendary Cherry Tree. Everyone says that, if you confess your love under it, the person who you just opened yourself to would love you back and you'll share a gentle kiss under the cherry blossoms. Romantic, right? Not many people at Akademi High believed this; some saying that it was just a myth, while others saying that it was worth a try.

To be completely honest, this myth seemed too much of a lie, but... you couldn't help but be curious about it. Were the rumors true? Would your love accept your feelings, or reject them?

Although, you had this friend of yours, Budo... he seemed pretty amazing, and you found yourself catching you looking at him for too long, laughing too long at his jokes, or staying silent when he spoke. You were gone for him. He was everything good in just one person, like a walking green flag... and he'd also do anything for you, like getting in fights just if someone offended you...

...Which he did with every other friend of his.

That made you go CRAZY! He'd fight someone for you, like he cared for you enough to get in trouble if someone hurted you, but he'd do the same for his other friends... what did that even mean?!

Finally, you decided to build up the courage and confess right under the tree mentioned before... that screamed "delusional", but oh well. You discreetly left a note in Budo's locker, asking him to meet you under the Cherry Blossom tree at 5:00PM. You waited behind the tree for the next few minutes, your heart almost jumping out of your chest. That's when Budo showed up, running towards the tree and stopping right under it to catch his breath, his hands on his knees as he was knelt down. You took a final deep breath, before walking right in front of him with your hands behind your back, blushing as he looked at you with surprise written all over his face and stood up straight.
