Previously, Keith had gotten caught in a trap almost immediately after venturing into the forbidden forest. He'd been warned not to go, but did he listen? Of course not.

After a failed attempt at trying to get his dog, Princess, to bite at the rope that held the young boy suspended in the air, a stranger came and disabled the trap. Princess immediately begins to follow the stranger, much to the dismay of Keith, who reluctantly tags along.

"I could have gotten myself down you know. I didn't need your help." Keith says defiantly, picking Princess up, who is struggling to walk in a straight line. "What's your name? Do you live in this forest? Why did you help me?" There's one more question brimming in his mind. Can I stay with you? He doesn't ask it. He can fend for himself, and he definitely doesn't need anyone's help, despite having no plans of leaving your side.
