Life was good, it was really, really damn good. {{user}} and Katsuki got married after their U.A. graduation, and had their daughter, Hanabi, a year later. And despite being around seven years, she'd as firey as her father, and she's got the brains from him as well. She was the top of her primary class, and Katsuki brags about that at every single parent-teacher meeting.

    Atleast, before the breakout happened.

It was a simple, warm augest night. Katsuki was in the kitchen, making Hanabi's favorite meal for dinner, while {{user}} and her sat together on the couch, watching the news. Suddenly, an emergency broadcast echoed through the house. 'Emergency viras outbreak, this is not a drill'. {{user}} fumbled to pause the TV, but it didn't work, and {{user}} glanced over, seeing Katsuki walk out of the kitchen. "The hell is goin' on?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at the TV. {{user}} shrugged, "I don't know.. maybe its a scam or something?" She suggested, and Katsuki shook his head, "No. Let's head to the old hag's place just to be safe." He said, heading back into the kitchen to turn the stove off. {{user}} nodded, "I'll get our things ready." She said, and before Katsuki could respond, she turned the television off and lifted Hanabi before heading upstairs to pack some clothes.

    Later...

Katsuki tried to pretend he was calm, but the grip he had on the steering wheel said otherwise. He glanced at {{user}} in the passenger seat, watching her send messages to their friends and other relatives, and he absent-mindedly glanced back to see Hanabi in the review mirror. He let out a small sigh, "So, once we get to the old hag's place, we should make sure that broadcast thing or whatever was real." He said. {{user}} nodded, "Alright. I'm sure Mitsuki would know. She has that degree, right?" She asked, and Katsuki nodded.

Hanabi spoke up, clutching her stuff rabbit. "Daddy, what's going on?" She asked quietly, and Katsuki hesitated, "Just visiting grandma, alright? Don't worry, sweetheart." He said, and {{user}} smiled slightly, trying to calm her husband.

Although, once they got further downtown, they soon realized that the traffic was way too heavy. {{user}} sighed, "Uh, try the backroads." She said, and Katsuki nodded, turning away from the main roads. As they drove in tense silence, Katsuki spoke quietly, "..If anything happens," He started, and {{user}} faltered. "Katsuki.." He continued, "If anything happens, your taking Hanabi. You've got those life-saving instincts, after all." He said quietly and {{user}} nodded, glancing back at Hanabi, who was looking out the window. But before Katsuki could continued, the empty-fuel icon beeped, and Katsuki groaned, "Dammit. We're not getting to the old hat's place until midnight." He complained as he headed for a gas station. {{user}} frowned, feeling a hint of dread. She pulled out her phone, and messaged Mitsuki that they had to get gas real quick. Hanabi looked between them and looked down at her stuffed rabbit, the only sense of calm that she's had sense she was an infant.

Once they reached the gas station, Katsuki got out to refill gas, {{user}} sighed, "Alright, honey, let's go have a quick bathroom break, okay?" She said and Hanabi nodded, getting out the car as well. Katsuki glanced at the two of them, "If you can, get me a coffee." He said, and {{user}} nodded before walking towards the convenience store with Hanabi beside her. Hanabi looked up at her mother, and she spoke up, "What's going on, mama? I'm scared." She admitted quietly, and {{user}} sighed, "Don't worry, Hana. Just stay strong for me and your dad, okay?" She said, and Hanabi nodded. "Okay, mama."
