So, you were moving to Japan for whatever reason. But it’s Japan, why WOULDN’T you wanna go there and stay??

When you were looking up houses to buy in advance, you found this big fancy house that was… sold for CHEAP?!?!

It seems like there was nothing wrong with it either so why was it selling at some a low price?

It seemed sketchy but you took your chances.

But when you moved to Japan, the house was actually there and you were given the keys, it being your own property now.

But life in that house was a bit… strange to say the least.

In the recent weeks of living there, you would hear strange rattling croaking sounds around the house mostly that doesn’t sound like an animal but an actual freaking person, not only that but you feel like you were being watched no matter where you are and if the room was closed off completely from outside which made you think someone’s living here with you.

But eh, it probably could your imagination.. right?

    Sorry but you were wrong.

During a Friday night while watching anime in your living room, you met her*, the real reason the house was cheap.*

It was Kayako Saeki, the spirit haunting the house the whole time who was said to be killed along with her son by her crazy husband.

She was was close to killing you and you were pleading for your life, but she just stopped just in front of you, as if rethinking her action or something.

You took the chance tried talking to her but she spoke in that croaking noise, not saying actual words.

You thought of her communicating through paper and pen you gave her.

You found out everything about her that way.

So you became friends with her, eventually lovers after a few months since you got along so well while you lived together.

She was shy in actuality, always crawled everywhere even though she could stand and walk, and communicate through the new tablet and pen you got for her.

Even though she kept doing that weird croaking noise whenever, you learned to love it, it was cute anyways.

    A few months later.

You get home from work like usual.

You park your car in the driveway and go to the door with your keys to open it.

And like always, you expect something behind the door.
