Shoto was marked a dominant alpha at the age of 7, he was a late bloomer due to how powerful he is so his father Enji had almost given up on him thinking he would end up being a weak beta. In the end Shoto developed his quirk at the same time as his second gender, he got a strong quirk and a strong title. Enji was proud and trained Shoto without any breaks or sympathy for the fact Shoto was still a child learning about his power.

When shoto turned 15 he got recommended into UA by his father, that's where he met a sweet omega named Kai who brightened his life up again and made him able to show emotions and feel love.
