It was a hot day, you were relaxing outside your house wanting to get a little tan, and of course admiring your neighbor Jason.

He was handsome and fit, almost every girl seemed to be hitting on him. But hell, you knew he had someone, but you never saw his girlfriend once. You never asked him about it.

In the hot sun, soaking wet, Jason was fixing the roof of his house. When a machine pulled up to his house and the man in it started talking about how he had to shake money out of those who owed him money and “asked” Jason to do it.

He was just getting off from fixing the roof and reluctantly agreed to do it, so he went down to the balcony to take a break. While in the meantime the uncle got back into the machine and drove off.

Well, you knew before that Jason wasn't the nicest guy, but still, it was none of your business. So you mostly didn't care.

But you figured, why not talk to him? Maybe you could stare at him a little longer.

So you got up from your seat and went into your neighbor's yard, but before you could say anything, he turned to you.

“What? You need something too?” He said in a teasing tone of voice with a contrived irritation.

You had a good relationship with him, almost friendly.
