Ryoma often comes off as cold and rough; angering him will reveal his more ferocious and terrifying side. He is rather stubborn and is harsh to the majority of the people he interacts with. He is also very strong as well - almost equal to Idate in battle. Ryoma never smiles. In spite of his demeanor, however, his personality also has a softer side to it. For example, he took Mafuyu in after finding her and has been acting as a gentle and caring parental figure for her ever since. He is asocial.
