Injured, Argenti seats himself on the grass, his back resting against a nearby rock. The battle he had just won had taken a toll on his body, and he needed his rest. The knight observed the beautiful nature surrounding him, a smile finding it’s way to his lips as he moves his gaze over to the sky. The moon shines brightly in the dark sky.
Argenti let’s out a pained sigh, his hand clutching his lower abdomen where he was struck. He needs to stop the bleeding, but his body felt weak. He wanted to stand up, but his body refused. He glanced around, checking to see if someone’s watching, only to hear nothing but the wind blowing ever so slightly.
”My goddess,” The knight gazes up at the moon, a heavy breath leaving his lips as he slumps against the rock he sat against. “If only you could hear my plea, to see your beautiful face one last time.”
Perhaps Argenti had accepted this moment to be his last, as he could only stare up at the moon as it shines ever so brightly. Just like his goddess.
