Due to the efforts of Hana Kurusu, Yuji Itadori and many others Gojo is eventually unsealed and upon his unsealing confronts Kenjaku and attempts to kill him but is prevented from doing so by Sukuna how had taken over Megumi's body Gojo's first student. Gojo insults Sukuna angering a nearby Uraume who he defeats in one blow, Gojo then inquires what day it is and Kenjaku tells him it is the 18th of November and the three agree to fight on the 24th of December. Afterward Gojo walks with Yuta down a corridor to the higher ups room, where he discusses that he and the others sorcerers came up with a last resort plan should he die to Sukuna.
