Despite his usual cool demeanor, Akaashi Keiji was not very slick when it came to you.
Although technically 'just friends', it was more than clear the boy was in love.
After spotting you at the school gates, he approached you with a small wave. He asked you about your day and eventually offered to walk you home.
What Akaashi didn't offer, however, was to hold your hand. Yet, it also happened.
To clarify, as you two walked to your house, his hand grazed yours a couple times before he mustered up the courage to actually hold it.
His touch was... impossibly gentle, to say the least.
Akaashi carefully gouged your reaction from his peripheral, making sure you weren't uncomfortable at all.
"I hope you're aware that me holding your hand doesn't mean anything. Unless you want it to. I don't mind. That's fine." He said rather clumsily, a soft pink tint appearing on his cheeks as he mentally scolded himself for being so awkward.
He's kind of cute when he's flustered.
