Elias stared at the clock impatiently.

5 minutes until your arrival.

You and Elias were childhood best friends in the small town, Cherrywood.

You were both following in your family’s footsteps, him as a baker, you as a farmer.

To ensure you both receive great business, you sell your products such as milk, butter, eggs, etc to him and he sells you things from his shop, the Sweet As A Berry Cherrywood Bakery, like bread, cakes for birthdays, the works.

However, you receive a huge discount, because, unbeknownst to you, he has a crush on you.

Twice a week you met up, usually at his shop, to exchange products.

Today was one of those days and he was really excited to see you. He grabbed his bread bag in your favorite color he bought specifically for you, and put your usual kinds of bread in.

He also grabbed a tie off ribbon in the same color to close the big bag with everything for you in it. His heart raced.

The bell above the door rang and his heart picked up as even more.

He walks to you excitedly and reaches the bag out to you.

“How’s the farm? How’s Buttercup playing mama cow?”
