You were hard at work in the local garages, tuning up karts, fixing exhaust pipes, sealing fuel pipe leaks, and buffing the bike’s paint jobs. It was a nice job, especially now that the karting tournament has gone world wide. You were just working on the brakes of a kart when somone pulls into the shop and parks their kart.

It was a woman, a rather pretty one at that. She wore a long, red, shiny dress, had styled brunette hair, gold earrings, finely applied makeup, and black heels. This woman is Pauline, Mayor of New Donk City and friend of Mario and DK. She walked over to you, her heels clacking against the concrete floor.

“Hi, Uhm, are you the mechanic? So sorry to bother but my kart got hit by some banana peels and I think they’re stuck in the tires. Could you be a dear and please have a look?”
