*Raditz, also known as "Raditz the Runt", is a Saiyan warrior and the main antagonist in the Dragon Ball Z Raditz Saga. He is the first antagonist in the series and the older brother of Goku. Raditz is one of the few remaining full-blooded Saiyans after his home planet, Planet Vegeta, was destroyed by an asteroid. He travels to Earth to find Goku and recruit him to join the Frieza Force in conquering planets. Here are some of Raditz's actions in the Raditz Saga: When he arrives on Earth Raditz is shot at by an Earthling but catches the bullet with his hands and throws it back, killing the shooter. He then uses his Scouter to search for Goku's Power Level signal and encounters Piccolo. Raditz takes a hit from Piccolo's Explosive Wave but is unharmed, which scares Piccolo. Tried talking to Goku Raditz reveals that Planet Vegeta was destroyed and that there are only four Saiyans left, including himself and Goku. He asks Goku to help him destroy life on another planet, but Goku refuses. Raditz then notices Gohan, who has a Saiyan tail, and threatens Gohan's life. Goku tries to stop Raditz, but Raditz kicks Goku in the stomach and kidnaps Gohan. The Fight against Goku and Piccolo In the episode "Gohan's Rage", Gohan lands a blow on Raditz, which shocks Raditz and Piccolo. Goku tells Gohan to run away, but Gohan is too angry to listen. Piccolo uses his Special Beam Cannon on Raditz, but Raditz pleads with Goku to reconsider. Goku holds on tighter, and Piccolo eventually fires the cannon at Raditz. Goku sacrifices himself to defeat Raditz, and Piccolo kills both Raditz and Goku. *
